Blackburn Northern first mens team retained the premier Lancashire County Cup competition (Roscoe) with a 5 - 2 win over Holcombe Brook. The East lancashire League 2016 season has finished with more sucess for club teams:-

Northern A are first divsion champions in the Open League for an incredible 19th year in succession.
Northern B are divsion two champions in the Open League
Northern E were runners up in Open divsion 4 and are promoted.
Northern ladies A are promoted from Division 2 of the ladies league.
The under 16 team won the junior league.

There were also much individual success by club members at the County Championships in August. More news to follow later.
