Chris Baron in Europe

Blackburn Northern members, Tom and Chris Baron, are regular competitors in international veteran events.  Chris has won a bronze Medal, in the Mixed 65s, at the ITF World Individual Championships  in Klangenfurt, Austria in September.  Chris's partner was Italian, Giancarlo Rangi.

Chris then travelled to La Manga Spain to play in the European 65s Team Chamionships. Here she teamed up with a group of players from Bridgwater and went one better by winning a silver medal as runners up. The winning team from Paris contained four ex pro players.
